My coturnix have been laying pretty good for the last few days. This morning when I check one of them had laid an all white egg. Is that normal?

I think so. They all look the same except for one female. She looks just like the other coturnix but has white feathers on the ends of her wings.

Most likely just a glitch .
I have had a couple of them show not very common though.
Mark it and see what happens is about all you can do.

It Does Happen From Tim To Time Tho All White Is Uncommon.... Usually They Are A More Beige Color--- Same As The Other Eggs Just No Spots. Tho You Can Get Them Green, Blue, And White. With Or Without Spots.

I get one on occasion out of my one pen that houses jumbo's and a tibetan. I think it's out of one of the jumbos cause it's big. It's mostly white- with a spot or two here and there. Weird but looks the same inside! Kristi

This usually happens when the egg was pushed through her system too fast from stress or other reasons. When the egg goes through too fast it doesn't have time for all of the colors to be placed on the egg.

I got one that didn't have any markings and i put it in incubator on my last batch and it didn't hatch.sojono

I have wondered if they would hatch or not. I was thinking they wouldn't because they aren't in the oviduct long enough to get the protective coatings.
