White feathers turning yellow?

One of our chickens, Bianca (who may in fact be Bernard, but we're not quite sure yet) has white feathers that have been turning yellow in the past few weeks. We thought that maybe she was just getting dirty, so we washed her yesterday, and nothing came off. We're not sure what breed she is, and if this is normal or not, or if she's diseased or not. Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks!

Yep, like what Emzyyy said. The sun does that to their feathers. My silkie roo has this also around his hackles. Once they molt though the feathers will be white again.

Another cause is eating too much corn.

Whew! That's a relief! I feel like a new mommy worrying about everything and not knowing anything! Thanks for your fast replies and your help!
