Yes that is the plan. But don use Polish because they have so many unwanted genes you would need to get rid of. Look for Buff Laced Wyandotte instead or another dual purpose breed that has dominant white. I would rather use a sex linked production red hen than a Polish

You would be introducing the wrong type, wrong comb type, wrong feather type. All in all they are just not the best bet.

So much to learn! Thank you for your input and time, the more I learn the more I realize genetics is CRAZY complicated. It will be a good challenge to learn but dang if I don't feel dumb at the moment...
