**White Leghorn Contest** ENDED!! Results Soon

I love all these photos of Leghorns! They really are a beautiful bird. I'm glad the contest was extended because we will have the chance to see MORE photos!!! Of course I am bias and think Prince Roo is the most handsome!

Our lab-mix dogs don't do anything to the chickens either. I have 2 week old pullets and our male dog, Rolie, looks in the brooder to see how they are doing. A friend was over last night and she freaked when Rolie was checking out the babies! She said her dog would have been tasting them!

Thank goodness Rolie doesn't realize he's suppose to eat them... he thinks he is suppose to watch over them!

I entered him in the comb contest but he deserves an entry here too!

Rescue roo, now freeranges on 5 acres! I have no idea what his age is, he's messed up in the head, but he's gentle. His name is "floppy":

It's so sweet that he lets the little girl hold him. Mine chances our 9 yr. old through the yard. It scares her. He will be going in a pot in Nov.
