White leghorn egg color

Half of my white leghorns lay pure white eggs and the other half are off white, sort of beige. Whereas leghorn eggs from the supermarket are all pure white. What gives?

Agree that your birds aren't pure white Leghorns. Where did you get them? Pictures of the birds?
Crosses happen, sometimes on purpose, and sometimes 'whoops' breedings.
The eggs are what matters, whatever color the shells.

Nice birds!
Find out what hatchery your TSC uses, and call them. It might be interesting to talk to the hatchery about it.
As long as you aren't planning to breed purebred Leghorns, it's fine, and makes for a more interesting egg basket!
