White Leghorn x Dominique cross?

I have chicks from a white leghorn and best guess was a Barred Dominique Cross. All of the babies are white like the leghorns but some of them have muffs. The roo had muffs. Would the muffs be a dominant trait in males?

no. muffs are not sexlinks,any gender could get it

The male looks like a cuckoo Ameraucana.
