Anyone know the age difference for starting to lay?? They are all the same age but I have been getting eggs from ONLY the White Leghorns for over a week.

Seems that mine were about 22 weeks when they did..Seemed like forever, and compared to our last set, that was late..

Leghorns will typically begin laying earlier than the larger dual-purpose birds unless they're production bred. My WL started at eighteen weeks. My "heritage" dual-purpose birds may start as early as nineteen, but usually not until twenty weeks if spring hatched.
