I know white leghons are a continental bird but can they be kept in England where the
temperature does not really go into minus degree ( I know about vaseline on the floppy comb)

Yes leghorns can be kept in England. I’m in NJ,USA and we get below zero a couple times in the winter and mine did fine.

Agree... I'm in Connecticut USA and I have one as well. She's done alright. Had a brush with frost bite, but otherwise, she's been alright.

Yes. It can get to about -40C here and I keep some Leghorns. They get a bit of frostbite their first year but are fine after that.

I agree with the above posters. I think they would do well in England. We're not quite as cold here in NC as some, but mine has done just fine this winter. As long as you have some shelter/housing where they are protected from wind, rain, snow and it's dry, you should be fine.

I've got one white and one brown and they're both fine. Never had any issues with frostbite and it's dipped below freezing a few times already this year.

Definitely. Just about any breed will do well in the English climate. Moisture is more of a concern than cold, there.
