These are little bitty roosters. I bought them as chicks at Atwoods, a farm and ranch chain store here in OK. They are between 10 and 12 weeks old, and much smaller than chicks just two weeks older. We bought them as test meat birds (to see if we could do this meat bird thing), but I feel they are so small they are pretty much worthless for that. Plus they are mean little ********. Put them out to free range with one of the larger cockerels and one of them chased him all over the yard, even though they are a fraction of the size. Too bad they aren't a little bigger because I would have no qualms about dispatching these guys.

Are they Leghorns? Bantams? Is there a demand for such critters?

Thats what it looks like to me, is leghorns. Yea they are pretty much useless to cull. Good luck with the meat bird plan.

Beautiful white leghorn. We love our leghorns but they are full of themselves..our white roo is Marshmallow but he's more often called Hot Stuff. I have these in several colors-super egg layers

Yep, those are white Leghorn males...

Are you located near Claremore? We can use the meat in soup...if you don't want them that is...
