White legs

I have a Buff Orpington that had yellow legs but in the past 2-3 weeks have turned very white. Lucy's legs are fine good coloring Ethle on the hand are white. Is it something I should woory about?

Has she been laying?
A hen's legs bleach out when they've been laying...
That's happened with my Leghorn Obelisk...right now, they're like an offwhite with black spots and usually they're bright yellow with black spots.

Is the skin on her face pale,and /or her comb/wattles. If so she may be anemic. Check her weight, if you feel a sharp bone in the chest area she may have been losing weight. If anemic, up the vitamins and protein, lower corn, it lowers the protein in feed. Anemia can also be caused by worms/mites & lice.

I dont know exactly how white you are talking but Buffs have white legs. If they were very yellow likely to be mixed.

Perhaps you have buff rocks? Buff orps should have white legs. As for bleaching, good layers will lose leg color. Check for other problems though if you suspect something is wrong.
