white meat or dark meat?

Both. But I agree with the poster who detests legs. I do too, I love thighs. I think it's all those sinews in the legs that turn me off.

And yes thighs are dark meat.

It depends, if fried I prefer the legs, otherwise white meat.

Hi! I prefer the thigh (dark meat, but I don't enjoy drumstick) when eating chicken, second would be wings. My Mom won't eat dark meat because it has visible VEINS.

White meat is great if you don't cook it too long. It cooks much faster than dark meat though and most people cook it all as a batch. So the white meat gets dry. White meat best, dark meat as a back up if the white meat got screwed up.
