Yes - I've seen this!!! I got eggs from a friend who lives in West Richland, WA. The eggs were 2 days old and unfertilized.
It's not the egg white, which appeared normal. It's not chalazae - it isn't fibrous. This stuff is very watery - thinner than the egg white. When you crack it in the bowl, it runs to the outside of the egg white.
The yolk looks normal and there is no "bad" smells associated with them. I don't know what it is, but 5 eggs from the dozen eggs had it. I didn't use them. His hens appear healthy and are eating well, although we have had some cold weather of late that may have stressed them somewhat.
