I have some of these under my broody right now. I had a couple extras that Fowl Vision sent so I stuck them in the incubator. Seems to me that the trek clear across to Utah didn't hurt these eggs. Each egg was wrapped in bubble wrap and carefully double boxed. I plan on buying more after this batch hatches.

OOOOH. I love Orpingtons!! I need to wait for the fall/winter to get here to attempt and hatch any out. I discovered my A/C pretty much KILLS my chicks as they are getting ready to hatch.

Do your hens lay well in that time? I'd love to know.
