Are the white females from Charcoal pied x charcoal pied mating sterile?
The white color is a pattern and their genetic color would be Charcoal ... therefore sterile!
Excuse me for asking tough questions!

If you breed a Charcoal Pied to a Charcoal Pied you will not get any eggs, you have to use a split to Charcoal to get any eggs. Contrary to your statement, Charcoal are not sterile, they just do not lay eggs. If you produce an IB White split Charcoal she will produce eggs.

Why would they not lay eggs?

You'd never be able to prove a white bird out of a charcoal pied male and a pied hen split charcoal was actually a charcoal or just a split.
