White quail

So I have 1 all white and 2 white breasted quail in my new batch. How do you tell the sex by feather or can you only tell at the vent.. Suppose I could just wait for cooing (dinner) or an egg ( also dinner). I did read that someone said the white ones get picked on more and to keep an eye out for it

It is some one's opinion that they get picked on more. I wouldn't read too much into it. I've never had a problem with it and I have raised a lot of white coturnix.

You will have to vent sex them. Only pharaoh, golden, and golden italian auto sex.
