White rock roo X Barred rock hen=???

I have a white rock roo what would the chicks be if he was mated to a barred rock hen? On the chicken calculator it said females would be black and roos would be barred. anyone know what the chicks will look like?

Yes, like the calucator says, you would get sexlink chicks. Unless the White roo was masking barring, then you would get mostly barred chicks and maybe some solids but they wont always be sexlinked.

Im not really sure if he can be white and masking homozygous barring, but if he is barred, you would most likely be heterozygous barring and when bred to the Barred rock hens, it would give all barred males, half barred females, and half black females. If by chance he was masking homozygous barring, then all of the chicks would be barred and it would be just like if he was a barred rock rooster. Regardless of what you get, the chicks will carry one copy of recessive white and if mated together or back to the white roo, it will produce more white chicks.
