I ordered 4 white rocks from MPC, they are about 12 days old today. I just noticed that one of them has green legs. Does that mean it's not really a white rock? If not, what is it?
You need more of those, breed for "blue" in the legs, and market them as a new strain of American Bluefoot chickens! Big money in those for gourmet restaurants. Feeding them milk is supposed to make the meat delicious, too.
Thanks Raindrop! She's only 2 weeks old, but I'll bet she will look like that in the near future. One of the odd things about her though, is the green doesn't go all the way out to her toes, it goes out about 1/3 of the way.
Hi of my six, two are supposed to be white rocks, but I noticed green
legs on one of them? Im a new Mom so I was very concerned at first,
could she be an EE??? Thanks they look just like the pic of the white
one in your post? Thanx again
