Can someone (or more) show me pictures of White Rocks. I am trying to identify a hen I have. I have been told in the past she was a White Australorp and also a Leghorn.

Sorry, I can not post a picture of her at this time. Maybe tomorrow.

White Australorp: (bantam)

Notice the dark colored legs and red earlobe?

White Leghorn:
Yellow legs, white earlobes, and usually a floppy comb.

White Rock:
Yellow legs, red earlobe, MUCH larger than a White Leghorn. Leghorns are the "lightweights" of the standard chicken world.

I think the earlobes are one of the things I love about Rocks. Matching soft earlobes that most of mine will sit forever while you rub em.

The bird that I am questioning is lanky, yellow legs, white earlobe and a semi-floppy comb. She has not started to lay yet. Whether I get white eggs or brown eggs will seal the deal, but it sure sounds like a leghorn.

You might need to review the Standard of Perfection.

White Leghorn has a white earlobe. White Rock has a red earlobe.
