I have four pullets/hens currently laying and all of their egg shells are white. One of them is a Polish so her eggs are supposed to be white, but as far as i know the others are supposed to be pale brown. They were slightly darker in tone last year when they were laying/started laying but have become very light shelled . Also one of the pullets eggs have whit flat dots on them. They feel smooth not like the rough calcium deposit bumps I have seen before.

What could be the cause of this? They all seem otherwise completely healthy. :idunno

What breed are the other?
The brown colour, isn't an integral color of the shell (these are white or blue ) but a spray that the chicken covers the egg shell with, and that is influenced from the health, age and the time of the laying period of the year.

Interesting. They are as follows:

Serama age 10 months. Pekin bantam age 13 months. Belgian danver age 8 months. The Serama egg is pictured and her eggs definitely used to be a darker shade plus the white spots are new.

Can't really see the 'white spots', maybe needs better lighting, but....

'Speckled' eggs can happen for several different reasons...very few, if any, of which are a 'problem'.
Can be caused by:
Excess or uneven pigment coating.
Excess or uneven cuticle(bloom).
Excess calcium deposits.
Porous eggs can appear speckled.
Some birds lay them consistently, some only once in awhile.
The pigment or bloom can change appearance when wet, then change back when dry again.

As long as bird is getting a good diet and is healthy in every other way, it is no cause for concern.
