Could the yellow chicks with black beaks be silkie/ssh crosses, too? It looks like it should have thrown 50/50 black or white chicks.

I think it's just silkie cause I did have some straight eggs in but it could be my friends leghorn (can't actually remember if that's what it's called) I'm looking forward to my brahmas and rir growing the rir is massive and so strong

I had a couple of Silkie/SSH crosses, totally by accident. Usually they leave each other alone but I had one randy little SSH cockerel running around that I thought was too young to breed. I was wrong.

The good news is that both the offspring were cute as a bugs ear, smooth feathered, with completely different markings from each other and from their parents.

Unfortunately, I do not have pictures.
