Yes...this guy. Started crowing 3 weeks ago.Looks very much like a cockerel to me, but it's very odd if it hasn't crowed yet by that age. Is there another rooster around that could be stifling his crowing?
Cute! I suspect he is the reason the white one isn't crowing. I think the white is a definite cockerel. Everything about his appearance points to that.Yes...this guy. Started crowing 3 weeks ago.
Thank you for your input. I saw them sparing this morning. The white ones tail grew out this week too. I was afraid I got 2 boysCute! I suspect he is the reason the white one isn't crowing. I think the white is a definite cockerel. Everything about his appearance points to that.

I wish we lived in a community that allowed them. Just a bummer that both my silkies turned out to be boys.I'm sorry you didn't get what you wanted.
Yeah, big bummer. I hope you're able to find homes for them. If you try again, it is well worth it to buy older, sexed birds. It's more expensive but saves a lot of heartbreak.I wish we lived in a community that allowed them. Just a bummer that both my silkies turned out to be boys.
