White Silkie Question!!

I hatched out some silkies back in July (I think). They were supposed to be splash, so either the eggs got mixed up or the whites came out of the splash pen. 2 pullets 1 cockerel. 1 of the pullets has a couple yellow feathers on her chest. There was more, but it looks like the color is maybe molting out. What could this be from? And if the yellow doesn't dissappear is it okay to still breed her? Thanks.

If the birds were related , and or had white in their background, then you could get white from them. ie I had a pair of splash that were related, when they bred together I go 50% white, 50% splash from them.

are you sure the feathers aren't just stained ? too much corn,marigold, and sun can all stain their feathers.

Mine look just like that from our dirt, but I'm sure you know what a dirty Silkie looks like.

Could it be possible that they are splash, and their colors will come in later?

Never had splash/white before.
