I’ve noticed some white spots on these chickens’s combs. I know it’s not frostbite because I live in Southern California, but I’m wondering what it is and I should be worried. They’re not my chickens but I want to let the owners know in case

Its not something I'd worry about.

If you are sure it's not minor Frostbite, then perhaps some minor injury to the tips of the combs due to some nipping/pecking.

Could be a little dirt and will wipe off or even a little dry tissue. Hard to tell in the photos.

Who's chickens are they? Are you sitting for someone?
