Hello,

Tomorrow I am visiting a farm in order to buy some white stars I have read about the breed but they don't seem to mention how good they are at laying or there personality. If anyone has any personal experiences with this breed I would really appreciate you to share it with me. :D

White Stars are hybrids bred from utility strains of White Leghorns and are excellent layers of large, white eggs. If you live in an area where the winters are not too cold and long, you can get more than 300 eggs per year from them. As for their personality, like all Leghorn strains, they are skittish and flighty and do not like to be handled. If you live in areas with long, cold winters, or want a friendly, docile breed that is an exceptional layer, I would recommend Black Stars (Black Sex Links) instead. Hope this helps.
