@ Tonopah Pati, I remember seeing a Sultan with that name a day or so ago. He is a beautiful bird, does he have a loud crow?
The reason we need to know if ours is a roo is; our next-door neighbor is terrified of roos (childhood thing) and out of respect my Dad and Mom won't get a roo. We are also hoping the 2 Silkie and 1 Sultan aren't roos cause my mom said dad will make us find another home for them if they will be crowing and disturb poor mister 'young enough to get use to it' neighbor, we live in the country for heavens sake... Oh, sorry it just upsets me that he dictates to them when my parents have lived here 22 yrs, compared to his less than 5 yrs.
Mom and I will find a way to keep any roos quite if we have to bring them in the house brooder every night so they won't crow in the early morning.
Oh, that reminds me, a buyer (production chicks) at the hatchery we got our 1st 6 said there are vets out there that will carefully take the crow out of a roo. Is that true?
Let me know if truth or myth...
