I own a chicken breed that can have both puffy cheeks and not puffy cheeks. I own only one hen that has puffy cheeks, my rooster has no puff on his cheeks.
my rooster is gold laced and I'm going to try ending up with only gold laced in this breed but I still own this one hen with puffy cheeks that's is completely white. so I was thinking, I want a gold laced hen with puffy cheeks.
if I breed the white hen to the gold laced rooster, will I get gold laced chicks or white? and will the chicks have puffy cheeks

when I say puffy cheeks I talking about cheeks similar to the easter Eggers cheeks (but this breed is not easter egger tho)
here's picture of the beautiful hen :love

As for offspring color, it's difficult to say what you will get. It depends on whether the hen is dominant or recessive white, and what genes she carries under that white.

Beard/muffs are incompletely dominant. While most offspring may inherit them they may not be as full, and some may not get them at all.
