white X gray partridge

If you breed a white silkie to a gray partridge would the offspring be white? Or could some be gray partridge?

Am curious to this answer because I have a couple of this cross in a batch due to hatch in a few days. Sort of testing them so to say.

You wont get White chicks becuase the white in silkies is recessive and it wont show if the first generation but with it being recessive there is also no way to know what color is being masked under the white so thus there is no what to give you an accurate answer until they hatch and you see for yourself.

But the chicks that do hatch will be carrying one copy of recessive white so if bred together or back the pure whites, there will be some percentages of those second generation chicks being white.
