Generally speaking, solid white birds are usually solid white/yellow when young.

Are ou sure it's not marker? Sometimes hatcheries put marker dots on some of the chicks...
They could also be Red Shouldered Yokohama, with small amounts of the red color.

No, I am not sure, it could definitely be ink if some sort.

My first thought was same as Crazy for Chickens, I'm wondering if its a mark the hatchery put on them.

I found these 5 chicks at Tractor Supply labeled as Exhibition White Yokohama straight run. 2 if then have very clearly defined brown dots on their heads. Does this mean anything? Are they really Yokohama?

I also think the dots were put on with a marker.

The things that might give an indication that these are Yokohamas are yellow legs and pea combs. It may be a touch early for those to show up clearly now, but they are something to look for in coming days.

They are very cute whatever they are.

Eagerly awaiting new pics as well. I use to raise Red Shoulder Yokohamas. Yokohamas are beautiful birds.

They are in with silkies and d'ucles but this is what they look like now. Hatched 9/21 so right at 6 weeks old.
