I have an order of WTBs coming later this month. I was mainly interested in the compact size and feather-color variety, but I might cancel the order if there are other breeds that fit the bill. There's a local chicken lady selling Prairie Bluebells, and then the feed store has sexed Easter Eggers for $6 apiece. Are these basically all the same thing?

(I don't plan on breeding, so I don't care if they breed true.)

My two cents:

They are the same and different. EEs can be any combo of breeds that lays blue or green eggs (though some lay light brown or pinkish). The other Blue eggers have a variety of breed mixes.

I have WTBs. Originally Legorns crossed with Ameraucana They are small and compact and egg laying machines. Of the 6 I have had they all have big personalities but not lap chickens.

Just my two cents
