Silkie crosses also tend to have feathered feet, crest on the head, and they often have dark skin. This chick has clean feet, light skin, and I don't see a crest. So those are more reasons that the Dorking is probably the father.

I agree. Also it's too young to accurately sex. Dorkings can be slow to mature too, so especially if that's the father, we need to wait a few weeks
