my ducks hatched 7 babies a couple months ago. I can’t figure out who the mama is to these cuties. I only have male pekins. Moms could be blue Swedish, black Swedish , cayuga, buffs, welsh harlequins , or crossed from the first hatchlings last year. Still only one male pekins - these brown ones are absolutely beautiful but who is the mama ??!

Assuming the Swedish and Cayuga are from a hatchery, then they should be pure or homozygous for extended black so they are NOT the mothers. The buff would give blue so she could be the mother of the lighter drake in the second picture. That leaves the Welsh Harlequin (or the crosses) as the mother of the other ones. The Harlequin makes sense to me especially if the Pekin has wild type and light under the white.
