Who all has a lap chicken?

This is one of our Dominique chicks. I’m fairly certain she’s a pullet and is about 7 weeks old now. She often lays on my daughters lap and falls asleep. My other chickens haven’t accepted her into their flock quite yet so she spends the majority of her day with my child. Lol.

Anyone else have a lap chicken?

I had one hen who never really settled in with the flock, and she used to think that she was a human. She didn't really like sitting on laps, but she did like walking around on my back porch with me.

Lizzy's a shoulder chicken, but only when I'm going into the feed shed and she wants a ride.
