My best friends are all my BYC friends!
But especially my little sister! <3


I feel connected to everyone on BYC because I love poultry and everyone here does too, I hope!
So I’m glad to say that everyone on BYC is my friend

I think it's kinda funny on here, that people will say they didn't know they were a friend of So and So. But this person listed them. If you are friends with someone they KNOW it unless you are just tossing names out to sound important.

Just because someone "likes" your posts doesn't mean friendship. More likely it means they wants more likes for their total. If I "like" a post it means something in it connected with me. I imagine that would make an acquaintance, or eventual friend if it keeps happening.

The whole list thing is so so high school not going to change anyone's life and shouldn't.

If someone was a great friend and now is dumped in the trash, it speaks a lot about the list maker and not the great friend. Think about it people ,if one person dumps a good friend, you make the same mistake and you will get the same treatment.

Some folks have "conditional friendships," ie. "as long as you share the same opinions you are "In like Flynn." (good Irish name- I knew the family). If you have your own thoughts and opinions you are OUT.

The former friend will hate you all the days of their life because they are the "Great one," and you aren't bowing and scrapping."

Above all don't let someone try to shape you into the person they think you should be.

Go in peace not in "pieces." Be good to yourself.

I've been pondering how to respond to the question "who are your friends on BYC?".

I've been fortunate to have made many friends here but don't want to list names in case I forget someone and cause hurt feelings.

Let me just say, I hope the people I think of as friends know they are important to me . And that goes for those I chat with most every day as well as those I only manage to catch online once in a while.

You count as one of my friend! No take backs!

Since you chose to post this on a public thread you must know that everyone can see it, and anyone can respond to it.
So. Here goes. I, for one am frequently made very uncomfortable by this kind of personal and overly dramatic post, if you have a beef with one person you should p m that person and not put it out there for the whole community. If you throw a hissy fit and tell someone to put you on "ignore" dont be surprised if they do.

Hi all, this is a thread where you say what friends you have on BYC!

So many that I consider friends. Love and hugs to all of you!

As others have said, some friends are no longer with us. There are two that weren't mentioned, @DylansMom (Mindy) and @connerhills (George), both were valued and highly respected members in the peafowl forum.

Thanks to Mindy, my peafowl flock now has some beautiful non-traditional colors.
