Who ate black-eyed peas today for luck?

okay. i ate the pork but never got around to the peas. think i'll have good luck anyway.

Black Eyed Peas, cabbage and ham (pork)

And burned the bayberry candle from a friend.

This bayberry candle comes from a friend
so on Christmas eve burn it down to the end.
For a bayberry candle burned to the socket,
will bring joy to the heart and gold to the pocket.

Some traditions also say for New Years Eve/Day.
Because I zonked out on Christmas Eve, I burned it yesterday and today.​

I've never heard of that tradition. hmmm...I don't think I've ever tasted black eyed peas either.

I had a Wendy's hamburger for dinner...but we were on the road and had to do a drive through dinner.

I had black-eyed peas ( glad no one is in the office with me today

)collards, ham ( hubby don't like hog jowl) and corn bread + migraine ( Toby- Dr. Fuzzbody slept with me to help it go away). Hope everyone has a very good New Year.

I cant eat black eyed peas

never did like the taste of them
so we did a breakfast thing instead fresh eggs, hashbrowns,green pepper, onion, ham , toast --
