It was clear from the person posting that the chicken was fine or I would not have been so amused.
Alright, then. I was just reading this article in my new Backyard Chicken magazine by a avian vet about all the stuff she'd extracted from chickens, including deadly amounts of gravel, wire, screws, and lead shot.

Also, apparently a lot of cows eat metal with frequency and the only thing you can do is feed them a magnet so it stays in their system for the rest of their life rather than doing more damage on the way out.

I was going to put out some oranges to atract the wesern tanangers I got last year, but... you know... I'm trying to conserve my good fruit. I tried grape jelly, nobody has touched it.
The photo is from last year.

I have some disgusting, old, frozen mango in the freezer though...

Oh good grief! The things chickens get themselves into! I'd never find any animal suffering amusing. This poster said her chicken ate a rubber band and was so excited when it came out the other end that she ate it again before the poster could grab it. The chicken was fine. I could just imagine the excitement! lol!

I'm still giggling about a chicken being so excited over a rubber band she ate it twice!
There is that damn green glass marble here that has seen the insides of all my ducks multiple times! Whenever one duck poops it out three other ducks and one "humon" come running to grab it. The ducks want to swallow it again…
