Sorry, I never really knew anything about partridge ones. Were they made by crossing laced x unlaced? They are partridge Cochins!
Ok, here they are. I have better pics of ruby because she would stay still. Usually, Oreo Penguin, would stay still, just not that day when I took the pics. The Cochins are all about 8.5 months old. Pretty sure they are Not laying yet. As you can (probably) see, they have a lot to grow stillSure I do!
I have no idea. All I did was just order them from Murray McMurray!Sorry, I never really knew anything about partridge ones. Were they made by crossing laced x unlaced?
They are all gorgeous! I especially love Ruby!Ok, here they are. I have better pics of ruby because she would stay still. Yup. Terrible at genetics too.I have no idea. All I did was just order them from Murray McMurray!I’m terrible at genetics and that stuff.
Beautiful! (Wait a minute. @Little Baby Bean just gave her to you? Are you neighbors or something?)
(Yup!(We are sisters)
Ruby is the star of the show I guess. Everybody seems to love her! I really like Oreo, i never had a laced hen, so this is a 1st! She is beautiful in person, but so are the others! They are all gorgeous! I especially love Ruby!
They aren’t laying yet?? Coco is only 6 months and she is already laying!
Nope, perfectly pure! She's gigantic too. Maybe just developed faster since she's always been the biggest.HOW?! She is only 6 months!? Is she a mix? Even google says Cochin usually start laying at 8-9 months, since they are such big breeds. Also, the winter isn’t really helping.
That is weird. My Cochins still have to grow about 2.5 times their size! They are only about 5 pounds. Maybe they were a normal Cochin x bantam Cochin?Nope, perfectly pure! She's gigantic too. Maybe just developed faster since she's always been the biggest.
