It’s Birdie’s! She started laying again!! She’s one of my (almost) year old polish hens!

I have to teach them to lay in the nest box! They all lay on the ground! It’s the worst!!

Some people use golf balls.... I just use their eggs. When you see them nesting, show them the nest.... Or a bag of shavings.

My Shiloh laid her first egg in the nesting box, and every other egg there too. I got lucky.

Ok. On placing my nesting box, I did it the cat house training trick. Where the pullet lays, that's where the nesting box goes.

Yeah, it probably doesn’t help that one of my pullets claims the nest box to be hers. She jumps up and scares anyone that’s up there. Polishes are too stubborn!

I've seen that before, though never dealt with Polishes much. Mine didn't even have a nesting box. I wasn't experienced at all during their time.

It's always an interesting sight when one chicken is on another to lay an egg.

Yeah, or when one hen is incubating another hen!
