You can go right ahead and take over any thread you want! I enjoy seeing your posts.
I don’t know, I only have one jersey giant, and she is about 5 months.I do have a question. I know I shouldn't be worried, but just in case. My White Jersey Giants are 8.5 months old, and they are about the same of my RIR's, but a bit bigger. Are they growing at a normal rate?
Ok, I don’t want to clutter this thread up, but is it possible for chickens to skip a molt? I have just realized one of my RIR’s also had a few neck feather missing, but you can only see it if she is “bobbing” her head while walking. Hawk, (8.5 months old jersey giant) has a bunch missing in her neck, and you can see her skin. She is too young to molt though and I am worried. So my question overall is: Can a young hen molt, and can some hens just skip the year‘s molt?I don’t know, I only have one jersey giant, and she is about 5 months.
I’m not sure. I’m not really an expert on this sort of thing.Ok, I don’t want to clutter this thread up, but is it possible for chickens to skip a molt?
