Who did it?

Hey guys,

We found our first egg last week. See pic below...

We have a bantam silkie and two Sussex that would lay tan eggs. The egg seems the right size for the silkie, and a little small for the Sussex. Today I caught our Sussex laying an egg that is the same color but a little (but not a ton) bigger. Do the eggs start out small for the standard chickens when they first start laying?

Yes, they do start out smaller at first. If it's exactly the same color as the one the sussex laid today, then she probably laid that one.
