I just found 2 pinkish colored eggs this morning and was wondering which hen they belong to. We have all brown egg layers excepy for 1 ee. Could they belong to the EE? I thought they were supposed to lay blueish eggs. also could it be possible for her to lay 2 eggs at a time? If not which one could have laid them. We have Australorps, light brahmas, nh reds, and silver laced wyandotes plus, like I said, 1 EE.

Australorps lay a very pale brown egg that looks pinkish, it might be them. But EEs being a cross breed can lay any color so it could also be her. It is technically possible for her to lay two in a day but it is rare and in most cases one or both are weak shelled or deformed looking.

EE can lay different colored eggs and even different shades of those colors. Looks like you have yourself a pink colored kind:). Also it's not unheard of to lay2 in the same day, won't happen to often though.
