Who else despises RACCOONS 😒😒 ?

Raccoons come in family groups, and will have no trouble with your screening. Only well secured hardware cloth, with woven wire also, will keep them out. and secure latches, preferably locked.
We haven't had issues since our coop was made very secure, but before that, many losses, birds torn apart at night.
It's illegal in many/ most states to relocate them, because of disease issues. They can carry rabies, and will carry an intestinal roundworm that can kill humans. Just sayin'.
If there's no way for them to get your birds, and no food out there, hopefully they will move on. Only trap if you will then shoot!
Pest control companies will manage this for you, for a price.

"Trash Pandas". They are only cute when they are on someone else's property.
I agree... I have seen coons around here but they haven't messed with the hot wires around the coops and pens. Can you trap it and maybe get ahold of a wildlife rescue. They have release areas so they don't become a problem for someone else. Good luck...

I have predator proof coops so I don't have a problem with predators .I like raccoons but don't want them hanging around.I haven't ever seen raccoons here and I've been here 7 years (I have seen coons dead on the highway) Having chickens penned up gives predators no motivation to hang around.Letting chickens free range makes them EZ prey.
