who else has eggs cooking???

Well apparently my math was off. 5 hatched in the wee hours. 3 at still sitting pipped and 6 are nothing yet, but I hear tapping and it's not the pipped eggs. I see how easily this can be addicting. Some of the other new chicks are already trying food and drinking. So far then 13 blue chicks, 1 splash, 1 chipmunk colored probably gold chick.

This is my 1st chicken hatch - I used to hatch/hand raise parrots though.

I've got 6 Tolbunt Polish and 1 bonus Isbar in my brand new Brinsea Mini Adv EX. Today is day 3 & I candled because I couldn't stand it - all have veins!!!

Now to contain my excitement and stop wanting to candle every day!

But that is so hard. I want to see the babies everyday too. But I contain myself.:D

you have the Polish that I am dying to hatch out. I hope you post pics when they hatch, I love their heads!

A box of peeps and more to come in! The hatching is very staggered.
I have no idea what breeds are in there but they are all adorable! When is a good time to guess the breeds?

Congratulations :celebrate

Usually at about 8 weeks you should be able to take a guess if not sooner. Also posting some pics in this section of the forum may bring you some answers here is the link https://www.backyardchickens.com/f/15/what-breed-or-gender-is-this

Best of luck with the rest of your eggs.
