Welcome to round 2. My previous chicks now two weeks old are growing wonderfully. Just put 24 eggs in, 15 are Andi eggs with a couple Buttercups. 8 are Austra/Andi's again, one is either Favorelles or Sussex. Hope Polish didn't get to too many hens. Not in a position to put him elsewhere, might have to consider parting with him.

I just finished my first hatch of chicks!! My own barnyard mixes and a few from two friends!
37 total
33 went to lock-down
31 hatched!!! (two did not--one was empty and one died, fully formed in the egg)

Was thrilled with this hatch rate!!

This will be my last incubation for the year unless I somehow manage to get a bead on some really nice Andi hatching eggs. I'm addicted.

That's incredible. You don't count the empty. You hatched 31 of 32
