Who else is setting... I wanna see pics!

A second one hatched.

2nd verse -same as the first

They look almost totally the same. I'm sure there will be differences once I can get them out and look at them.
A third egg from Sunny has a large pip - looks to have a rather large beak in a small banty egg.

When I find the stupid camera (it was on the table Sunday) I will post pictures of the chicks AND the drama queen Stubby. She is VERY bad looking with almost no feathers, they got pulled by roosters and then she is molting. She does have a bunch coming in though.
It's odd that the 2 roosters love the ugliest hen the most.

Mary... you have some cute chicks there! The little buff mix with the racing stripes is too cute!

pbj - Oh, really... she can't be that ugly, can she?
LOL!
Now I'm anticipating seeing your hen's pic as much as the chicks'!

you sure do have cuties
with nice colors. congrats.
I have cochin bantams 2 reds and the rest
blues and blacks and they are a joy good setters and great layers,
and a few have given me large eggs or maybe I should say extra
Large with double yolks,I cant figure that out.
I just have a lone white silkie from a doz. but getting more in this week end.

One of the two due the end of the week looks iffy, it's okay there are enough other staggered chicks if I get a singleton.

The batch in the redwood incubator are at the right temp and going but the antique turner is designed for full size hen eggs and most of what I am running are pullet eggs. They're not getting well turned. I may have to punt. I'm going to pull them, candle them all and place them in cartons and tip for the remainder of the hatch.

Theyre a few days ahead of the serama eggs.

This thread is going to stretch out some - I'm collecting delaware and sizzle and serama eggs...

I have a third one out - man these guys must have crossbred with some sloths or something.

It is one of Sunny's eggs. Sunny is a pure splash cochin and this chick has a straight comb and looks like 4 toes. I'm surprised it only looks lightly feathered on the legs and feet because Sunny is so feathered you can't see where her legs and feet are when she walks. This chick is also blue/silver.

There is also two more pips and one that is 3/4 zipped.

ETA: 4th one is out, two more eggs zipping and the two marans eggs have pipped. That just leaves one of Stubby's eggs that has done nothing.

Pagan - she is my bird that when animal control stops by - I think they are gonna remove her for abuse...
