How funny...funny in a cute sense...add water and it comes out. Know about hand me downs. I happen to get one from a friend free and one on CL for 25.00...both Hovabators comp.I got lucky. My new Lg was from m-i-l for my 50th bday. And DH said I omly wanted a few chickens for fresh eggs!! Mom calls n tells u about bator on CL n ur friend...No,no wasn't suppose to be like this. Lol. I'm up to 1 main large coop..and 2 mini coops n wking on 2 large coops. Lol wooo hooo

Ive read too much, all of the info has got srcambled in my brain!! Right Ive gt a mixed batch of hens eggs in, I set them at 8 a.m on the 12th Aug. Just checking that

a). I turn off the auto-turn on Monday 7th 8 a.m?
b). I keep the temp between 37.4c-37.6c (99.32f-99.68f) ?
c). Humidity should be 70% ish?

What day should they pip?

Ok here are a few pictures of my incubator. And a couple of questions to go with them!

Do I remove the section bars when I turn off the auto-turn?
Do I put kitchen roll under the eggs before hatch day?
Do I candle tonight and remove any of the duds?

Seth.....ok, Im due Sept 11th...so on Sept 8th...I take the turner out...and I raise the humidity to 60-70% THAT IS THE WAY I DO IT....your doing good, Calm down....

I have at least one, probably two pips! The one egg is at an angle where I can't see it great through the window but it looks like a pip.

look left, then right, then you can see if you're close to anyone as I can't see from here! Cornwall is a bit of a way to see!!

Sorry x factors on and Im just bored! My chicks are due to hatch on the 9th, just a few days ahead. Good luck to you.
