Who has a cricket problem? Can you soften their shells ?

Yes. Just buy a dozen, put them in a container--we used a small aquarium--cover the top. We had top soil on the bottom, moistened. It has to be a good temperature--room temp worked for us, and then you have to feed them. they will eat almost anythng. weeds, leaves, oatmeal, dog food, etc. they will dig under ground to reproduce, so make sure they have a few inches of topsoil. don't know about providing water for them. We just kept the container moist, so the humidity was high, plus they got moisture from most of their food. i'm sure you could google how to raise them, but that is what worked for us.

They're bugs, raise them, pull out a few as needed, and let them self populate/regulate, when they hit the point of saturation, they'll go cannibal, but again, at that point you should have plenty, pull out what you need and let the rest fuel the colony.
