Who has cuckoo marans??

Cuckoo marans? Are they a good breed to own as far as docile good layers? I ordered 6 pullets, hoping to get the nice deep chocolate colored eggs to add to my, pinkish, white, green, blues and browns8)

my cuckoos lay a nice dark brown egg,not like the black copper marans but good.my girls are not flighty but not friendly either.they lay very well and are big girls.i think they make very nice dual purpose birds.the roosters are huge and i don't care for them but that is just me.
not the best picture but it shows the color.there are rhode island reds,plymouth rocks and ameraucana eggs in with the darker marans eggs.

Nice looking eggs, I ordered pullets so should not get a rooster. Really need dual purpose chickens I have several ornamental birds, now I need good layers
