Cool! If you were getting a girl and boy, I would say to call them Jack and Jill.

We have had 2 parakeets for several years. I had no idea what sex either of them is. And then to my complete and utter surprise I see 5, now 6, little eggs in the corner of the cage. I didn't ever think we would have eggs so no nesting supplies. I'll just trust that she knows what to do because I sure don't.

With eggs of Parakeet.... Let her sit on them. See if they hatch. If not ... Toss them. 18 days. I seen mine male and female do mating the green is a male. The all blue with white head is a female. The yellow head blue body is a separate bought bird it's real young. If the pictures can't tell. I named them all girl names. Charlee and Anna and SkyBlue. Hannibal Lecture is the male variant. Mine might make eggs as soon as tomorrow.

We got the parakeets for my elderly mother to watch. She named them Julie and George. But based on current events we've renamed them Julian and Georgette! She figured George was a boy because he's blue...
