who has The BEST Rhode Island Reds and Barred Rocks??????????

looking for a hatchery who has consistently good layers: Rhode Islands, Barred Rocks, Red stars, who do you reccomend?

IMHO, McMurray has the best production Rhode Island Reds, and Ideal Poultry has the best production Barred Rocks. Not sure about Red Stars, though I've heard McMurray's are pretty good.

I've had McMurray's RIRs, and they're the best layers I've ever had. They're also docile, despite the breed's reputation for being aggressive.

I haven't had any of Ideal's Barred Rocks... Yet! Planning to order some for this spring. I did my research and I believe they have the best strain. I've had McMurray's BRs, and was very disappointed in their egg production.
