Here's a pic of my week old Wellies. I ordered these from Cackle Hatchery in Missouri. They are doing great haven't lost one. I have owned Welsummers once before. They are great birds. Beautiful eggs. Like most chickens the more time you spend with them the less flighty they are. The Wellies I owned years ago, most were like lap dogs. I was probably 10 or 11 when i had them.. Had them all named of course. Now that I have 2 sons of my own i would love for them to have the "back yard chickens" experience. Of course i still spend more time with my new Wellies than anyone. My wife jokes and says i must have a girlfriend in that chicken coop.
